Government & Civics

Whether you have an interest in becoming a lawyer, getting involved in government or becoming an entrepreneur, this course will prepare the students to be well rounded citizens who will be ready to uncover the complexities of the world around them. We will use philosophy, historic court cases, debates and Socratic Reasoning to uncover a number of ethical, political and historical events. The curriculum will follow a High School level outline and prepare students for the course (AP optional). Students will be asked to interpret real life scenarios and decide which decisions are the best to make. Today, it’s more important than ever to have the ability to think critically!
